Bio

Lawrence Cole is a B2B Go-to-Market leader residing in San Jose, CA with his wife and son. Initially educated as an electrical and software engineer, he has built a rewarding career leading revenue-driving functions within the SaaS subcategory of AdTech/MarTech at Google and Amazon. His superpower is creating and activating the infrastructure for scaling revenue (strategy, people, process, and systems) to meet and exceed CEO and board objectives while optimizing human capital (culture, performance, DEI) for maximum returns. Beyond “Big Tech”, he advises and completes fractional CRO and revenue skunkworks projects for venture-backed startups and growth companies who are planning, building, and scaling their sales and revenue operations.

Outside of full-time work, Lawrence is an active board member, having served on the board of Annie Cannons (Y Combinator S’18) since 2019 and having chaired that board since 2021. He chairs the executive committee, serves on the governing and nominating committee and leads the annual board audit of the company. He is also a member of the National Association of Corporate Directors (NACD) and the Private Directors Association.

Lawrence is the benefactor of the Lawrence L Cole and Family Endowed Scholarship at Florida A&M University and gives to a number of educational causes through the Cole Family Foundation. Lawrence holds a bachelor of science in electrical engineering from Florida A&M, a masters in industrial-organizational psychology from Harvard University and an MBA from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.

Core Values

Health is Wealth

The experience of life pales and fades in the absence of mental, physical, and emotional wellbeing regardless of who we are or what we have.

Authentic Connections

“People are food” and you are what you eat. Each person that we engage with either adds to or detracts from our health and our ability to thrive and grow.

A Commitment to Causes

Service to causes and communities beyond ourselves whether small and deeply personal or at global scale.

Futurism

The future is created now; but in ways that may not be obvious and in fact are easily missed if our noses are pressed too hard to the grindstone of the status quo.

Growth Mindset

Never ending and constant learning through both formal and self-directed education, taking on risks and new experiences, and always remaining a student.
