Lawrence grew up in a family that believed in giving back to their community. As a result, he spent most of his youth and young adulthood dedicating hours of his time to various community service efforts year after year. But as the years have gone by and as his personal time has become more limited, he has shifted his focus to two personal initiatives that allow him to give to others and drive impact at greater scale: non-profit board service and philanthropy. To satisfy the latter, he founded The Cole Family Foundation, a 501(c)3 organization that provides access and opportunities to underrepresented and underserved communities across four pillars of impact:

(2) Youth Empowerment

(3) Economic Empowerment

(4) Neurodiversity.
